Candace Gallagher serves as both Town Manager and Town Clerk for Jerome. Rosa Cays is the Deputy Town Clerk.
The Town Manager carries out the directives of the Town Council and oversees the daily operations of the Town accordingly, including supervision of staff, preparation and administration of the annual Town budget, grant applications and administration, and public relations functions.
The Town Clerk’s office manages the official records of the Town, compiles information for all meetings of the Town Council, prepares the meeting minutes, responds to requests for public records, assures that meetings and ordinances are posted in accordance with statutory requirements, issues certain permits and licenses, maintains the Town Code and Zoning Ordinance by codifying adopted ordinances, and carries out election duties.
In addition, staff includes Melanie Atkin, Finance/HR Manager, and Kristen Muenz, Receptionist and Utilities Clerk.
