New flooring for Council chambers?

6/1/2023

At its June 13th meeting, the Jerome Town Council will consider replacing the flooring in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. While efforts were made to retain, repair and refinish the existing flooring, the repairs were going to be too extensive, cost prohibitive, and still have the potential to come out contrary to the historical nature and charm of the building.  Therefore, the Town Council is considering replacing the flooring with new wood flooring.  The existing baseboards and other trim will be retained and refinished to match under this scenario.  If you have feelings one way or the other on this proposal the Town Council will be considering, please attend the June 13, 2023, Jerome Town Council meeting at 7:00 p.m., so the Council can take into consideration all points of view.
