STILL SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS!

There are still vacant seats on our Planning & Zoning Commission and Design Review Board. If you are interested in serving on either, please contact Zoning Administrator John Knight at (928) 634-7943, or by email to j.knight@jerome.az.gov.

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION:

The Planning and Zoning Commission was established to help formulate and administer lawful plans adopted by the Town Council relating to the present and future growth and development of the Town. The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Town Council, each of whom must reside in Jerome. The commissioners serve three-year terms. 

Regular Commission meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month, beginning at 6 p.m.

 

DESIGN REVIEW BOARD:

The purpose of the Design Review Board is to review the exterior design of new buildings and structures, the alteration of buildings and structures, landscaping plans, signs, and proposed demolition of structures within the Historic Overlay District in order to ensure that new development is compatible with the surrounding environment and to preserve and protect the historic character of the Town of Jerome. The Board consists of five members, each of whom must be a resident of Jerome with design background, training or experience. Members serve three-year terms.

Regular Board meetings are held on the on the first Monday of each month, beginning at 6 p.m.
