Avoid frozen pipes!

Now that winter is officially here, our Public Works department would like to remind you to avoid frozen pipes by leaving a tap dripping whenever temperatures dip below freezing. When it's bitter cold outside, start a drip of water from all faucets served by exposed pipes. Leaving a few faucets running slightly will also relieve pressure inside the pipes and help prevent a rupture in the event that the water inside freezes.

Better Homes & Gardens offers more information about how to avoid freezing pipes at this link.
