Public Works Technician: The Town of Jerome has an immediate opening for a full-time Public Works Technician to join our Public Works crew. Under the general direction of the Public Works Director or Crew Leader, the Public Works Technician performs a variety of skilled tasks and manual labor on the Town’s utility system, streets, parks and other properties, and provides residential and commercial sanitation collection services. Work involves manual digging, heavy lifting, extended walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces, all under a variety of extreme environmental conditions. To be considered, candidates must have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain a CDL within three (3) months of employment. The wage range for this non-exempt position is $17.50 - $25.00 per hour.
